The location is undoubtedly a highlight, conveniently situated midway between the main plaza and many local attractions. The proximity to a bank with no transaction fees and numerous excellent dining options within a short walking distance adds significant value. Though the decor might feel somewhat dated, the establishment compensates with practical facilities. The terrace offers a pleasant space for star gazing. Noise from neighboring rooms may pose a minor inconvenience, illustrating the balance between budget and luxury. While the breakfast is basic and strictly portioned, services like 24-hour reception and laundry make the stay manageable. Hostal Santa Maria presents itself as a cost-effective option for travelers seeking simplicity within the vibrant heart of Cusco.
